1. Introduction:
Vacuum belt filter equipment forms negative pressure at the filtrate outlet as the driving force for filtration.

This kind of filter is divided into two types: intermittent operation and continuous operation. The intermittent operating vacuum filter can filter suspensions of various concentrations; the continuously operating vacuum belt filter equipment is suitable for filtering suspensions containing thick suspension with many solid particles.
 
2. Working Principle:
The annular rubber belt is driven by a transmission device to run continuously. The filter cloth is laid on the belt and runs synchronously. The chamber belt is in contact with the vacuum slide table (an annular friction belt is installed between the vacuum chamber and the rubber belt and water is passed into it to form a water seal). The pulp is evenly distributed on the filter cloth by the distributor. When the vacuum chamber is connected to the vacuum system, a vacuum filtration area is formed on the rubber belt. The filtrate passes through the filter cloth, collects through the transverse grooves on the rubber belt, and enters the vacuum chamber through the center hole. The solid particles are trapped on the filter cloth. A filter cake is formed. As the rubber belt moves, the formed filter cake is gradually dehydrated due to the pressure difference. Finally, the filter cloth is separated from the the rubber belt, and the filter cake is discharged at the discharge roller. The liquid entering the vacuum chamber passes through the gas-water separator discharge. After the filter cake is removed, the filter cloth is cleaned and reused, and then passes through a set of support rollers and correction devices to re-enter the filter area and start a new filtration cycle. The vacuum filter realizes continuous operation and continuous filtration in the true sense. Material feeding, dehydration, slag unloading and filter cloth cleaning can be carried out continuously without interruption.

3. Main features:

a. High degree of automation; unloading, filtration, washing, slag removal and filter cloth cleaning are all continuously automated, which improves production efficiency and reduces operating costs.
b. Fast filtration speed; the material passes through the sedimentation zone, with large particles on the bottom layer and small particles on the upper layer. The filter cake has a reasonable structure and small permeability resistance for the filtrate, allowing rapid thin-layer filtration.
c. Convenient filtration process; filter cake thickness, washing water volume, countercurrent washing stages, the filter cloth speed can be adjusted arbitrarily to achieve a more ideal filtration effect.
