n the aerobic sewage treatment process, microorganisms are used to decompose organic pollutants in water to achieve the goal of water  purification

The biochemical activities of microorganisms must have an oxygen source, and the function of the aerator is to diffuse the air conveyed by the blower through the pipeline into water to provide the oxygen source required by the microorganisms.

When bubbles come into contact with water, they form a gas-liquid interface where oxygen transfer occurs.

The more bubbles are generated by the diffusion of gas per unit volume, the larger the gas-liquid contact interface formed, and the higher the efficiency of oxygen mass transfer.

The amount of bubbles generated by diffusion through the aerator directly affects the oxygen transfer efficiency.
