Disc Screen Filter

Disc screen filter is a solid-liquid separation device which use vacuum as filter drive, so achieve slurry solid-liquid separation. The machine adopts filter disc guide frame to achieve guidance, variable speed stirring, reverse blown discharge, automatic centralized lubrication etc. advanced technology; it's an excellent performance and reliable dewatering equipment. This machine is widely applied in iron and nonferrous concentrate dewatering work, and also suitable for coal washing ore dressing, non-metallic minerals, chemical industry and environmental protection work.

Disc screen filter working condition:

(1) The solid particle size in the slurry is -100 mesh to -400 mesh.

(2) The slurry temperature is 10 °C - 50 °C, non-corrosive.

(3) The optimum slurry concentration is between 35%-65% (metal minerals) or 20%-40% (coal or other light materials).

How It works?

Disc screen filter is constructed by several individual fanning strip, each fanning strip is an Individual filter units, use a make the filter cloth to a cloth cover and covered on the fanning strip, thus form a straining chamber. The filter disc is driven by the motor through the reducer, the filter disc rotates clockwise, and the slurry in the filter chamber forms a pressure difference on both sides of the filter medium. After attaching to the filter disc to form a filter cake, the agitator rotates to prevent solid precipitation. After the filter cake leaves the liquid surface, the water is removed. The filtrate was passed through a filter cloth and passed through a filtrate tube and discharged from the dispensing head. Then the filter cake falls into the discharge chute in the discharge area.
